Job Card PM A428 - Conditioner Coolant Level Check and Top-up
Note:
A document describing an alternate procedure is provided in the coolant kit. For maximum safety
and minimum risk of spillage, we recommend using the procedure given below:
In terms of a planned maintenance, the coolant must be topped up every 12 months. This procedure and
the procedure to change the coolant alternate per site visit, and are both undertaken on a 12 month
basis.
1. Check the coolant level weekly or when the CHECK FLUID message appears.
2. When adding coolant use the container labelled Topping.
3. Remove the reservoir cap and check the liquid level.
4. If necessary, add liquid until it reaches the bottom of the cap threads.
5. Replace the reservoir cap when you are satisfied that the level is correct.
6. Clean the exterior of the Conditioner with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Never use abrasive or
solvent-based cleaners to clean the Conditioner.
6-1 Surplus Coolant Disposal
• In a normal non-sensitive environment, used and surplus coolant may be disposed of by pouring
down a drain.
• Triple-rinse containers before placing them in appropriate waste receptacles.
