Job Card DIAG A1000 - Gantry Diagnostic
FRU is the Gantry CPU, which you must change (see Job Card D/R A190 - Gantry CPU Board on
page 1131).

2-44 JC DIAG A1406 COLL BLADE OVERCURRENT
Diagnostic for:
142/003 error code (CAN code is 0x5300)
142/004 error code (CAN code is 0x5300)
142/005 error code (CAN code is 0x5300)
142/006 error code (CAN code is 0x5300)
1. Check the cable connections, shielding, and grounding.
2. Reboot the system to check whether the error persists. If the error persists, open the collimator cover
and check whether there is interference between the blade gear and cover (identified by scratches
on the cover).
If there has been interference between the blade gear and cover change the Collimator Set (see Job
Card D/R A280 - Collimator Set on page 1369).
If there has not been interference between the blade gear and cover, turn the corresponding blade
gear manually in two directions.
• If there is a mechanical hard point or the resistance in the two directions is noticeably different
then check whether there is mechanical disconnection (screws, rails). If there is a mechanical dis-
connection try to recover the connection. If the mechanical disconnection cannot be recovered,
change the Collimator Set (see Job Card D/R A280 - Collimator Set on page 1369).
• If there is no a mechanical hard point or no noticeable resistance in the two directions, power on
the system to check whether there is abnormal noise or vibration during blade movement. If there
is abnormal noise or vibration, change the Collimator Set (see Job Card D/R A280 - Collimator
Set on page 1369).

Diagnostic for:
142/007 error code (CAN code is 0x5300)
1. Check the cable connections, shielding, and grounding.
2. Reboot the system to check whether the error persists. If the error persists, dismount the collimator
box to be able to see spectral filter. Turn the filter wheel manually, to check for mechanical interfer-
ence:
3. If there is mechanical interference, there is a mechanical assembly problem. Check whether the Fil-
ter Wheel interferes with tube tilt plate screw. If the Filter Wheel interferes with tube tilt plate screw,
reassemble spectral filter and tilt plate.
• If the interference is within filter itself, change the Filter Wheel (see Job Card D/R A285 - Collima-
tor Filter Wheel Assembly on page 1375).
