Output Connection Requirements
The MMS-100 media server output must be connected to a valid display device to function properly. This output is via the
DVI connector. The server must sense a valid EDID for proper start-up.
Tip:
If the attached projector is not being driven by the MMS100 media server, a standard computer display or an
EDID management device can be connected to allow the motion system to properly operate. (ie. DVI Dectitive, DVI Parrot
or similar)
Please contact Sales and Support for the MMS200, which does not include a media server, and does not require an
attached display device
Note:
The use of a EDID management device is not explicitly supported, this information is given as a workaround in certain
situations.
