6.2.2 Main Ink Tank Too Full
(*1)： Liquid level can be confirmed by the height of the ink in the drain tube as a guidance.
[Note]
If there is an air bubble in the drain tube, remove the air first and check the liquid level.
(*2)： When you replace EZJ133 board, refer to [Replacement procedures of EZJ133 board] in “3.3.1 EZJ133
board (MPU board)”.
[Caution]
Be sure to check that there is no wrong connection of harnesses by referring to [Connector numbers and
Identifying method of harnesses] in “3.3.20 Electrical Connection Diagram”.

Replace the MV7 (makeup
valve) unit.
Check the initial-
level sensor
connection again and
correct it if necessary.
Drain the ink from the
ink main tank, and clear
the fault by pressing
the Clear key.

Turn OFF the power and then
pull out the sensor .

Is there a creepage leak

(Check it by mounting and
removing the harness.)
Remove the ink
adhering onto the
creepage surface
between the two
electrodes. Or replace
the sensor part of the
main ink tank.
Is the fault cleared
by power-on reset?

procedure, and confirm
that ink is refilled to
