5.13 Head Cable Replacement Procedure
１ Refer to “4.13 Print head replacement procedure” for separating the head cable from the main unit.
２ Remove the head cover and heater cover.
３ Perform “5.12 Head base replacement procedure”, Steps １ to ５ and ７ to ９.
４ Remove the screws (4 PCS.) as shown below.
５ Pull out the head cables from the cable sheath watching the wires and tubes.
６ Attach the new head cable.
(１) When installing new cables and tubes, be careful not to displace the Edge guard and not to bend the
cables and tubes.
(２) Refer to “4.13 Print head replacement procedure”, Steps ８～１２ for connection of the head cable
and the main unit.
(３) Refer to “5.12 Head base replacement procedure”, Steps １ to ５ and ７ to ９ for connecting
the Print head and the Head cable .
Opening the maintenance door is included in this replacement procedure. In order to avoid an electric
shock, be sure to turn off the power before access to the high voltage power supply.
