6.2.8 Makeup Replenishment Time-out
[Caution]
If you remove the solenoid valve or other piping part without relieving the pressure from the path, the ink may gush
out. Before performing the above steps, be sure to provide pressure relief.
(*1): When you replace EZJ133 board, refer to
[Replacement procedures of EZJ133 board] in
“3.3.1 EZJ133 board (MPU board)”.
[Caution]
Be sure to check that there is no wrong connection of
harnesses by referring to [Connector numbers and
Identifying method of harnesses] in “3.3.20 Electrical
Connection Diagram”.

Resume the
operation.

Does the MV7 (Makeup valve)
operate on the solenoid
valve/pump test screen?
Does the MV7 operate when
the connector of the other
operating solenoid valve is
connected to MV7?
Replace MV7 or clean any ink
build up or other foreign
matters on MV7.
Is the connection harness
conducting?
Replace the harness.
Replace the EZJ133 board*1.
Is the fault cleared by
power-on reset?
Does the Initial-level
sensor operate?

Replace the connection
harness

Disconnect the connectors, then
reconnect them (6 connectors).
Connect the connector.
Is CN13 or CN22 of the EZJ133
