6.5.6 Ink leakage/blowout
[Caution]
Do not repeat the nozzle backwash procedure more than two times.
If it is repeated in excess, the ink becomes thin, thereby incurring disordered prints.
If the ink is thin and printings become disordered, replace the ink.
When you want to eject or stop the ink during the recovery operation, execute those functions from the menu of
“Eject ink” or “No-cleaning stop” on “Circulation control screen.
Ink leakage/blowout
Is the ink stream bent,
dislocated from the
gutter, or hit the edge
of gutter?
Clean the orifice place
with makeup.
Clean the orifice plate
and the inside and outside of
the nozzle head cover with the
makeup, and then allow them
to thoroughly dry.
Is the bending of ink
stream corrected?
Execute the nozzle
backwash function.
Is the bending of ink
stream corrected?
- Remove the orifice plate
from the nozzle, subject it
to ultrasonic cleaning, and
reassemble on the nozzle.
- Adjust the ink stream position
so as to place the ink stream at
the center of the gutter.
Resume the
operation.
