6.5.20 Startup process after long-term shutdown and How to restore
the operation

is Red indicator turned OFF?

*1) Recovery route operation check:
This operation is the work for checking of the ink
clogging in recovery route.
[Operation procedures]
(1) On Solenoid v/p test screen, press Pump1
Operated first, and then press MV3 on
<Nozzle1>.
Secondly press Pump2 Operated, and then press
MV23 on <Nozzle2>.
(2) Sprinkle makeup on the gutters, and check if the
makeup is suctioned.
Circulation line verification

Are the valve(MV1 to 9, 11, 12,
23, 25, 28, 29) making
operation sound?
No
Refer to “4.5 solenoid valve replacement” and/or “5.5 Shutoff valve
(MV9, MV29) replacement” or “4.15.1 How to restore operation when
solenoid valve seizure occurs”.
Is the ink flow at tube B confirmed at
“Recovery line operation check”? *1)
Yes
Are BOTH “Ink Drainage” AND “Ink Refill”
executed TWO TIMES IN A ROW?
Yes

Trouble symptom [No collection], Probable cause [The collection pump
malfunctions].
