NEUTRAL SWITCH
INSPECTION
Disconnect the neutral switch connector from the
switch.
Shift the transmission into neutral and check for
continuity between the neutral switch terminal and
ground.
There should be continuity with the transmission is
in neutral, and no continuity when the transmission
is into gear.
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Disconnect the neutral switch connector from the
switch.
Remove the neutral switch and sealing washer.
Install the neutral switch with a new sealing washer.
Tighten the neutral switch to the specified torque.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
TORQUE: 12 N·m(1.2kgf·m, 9 lbf·ft)
