UPC-A Addenda
This selection adds 2 or 5 digits to the end of all scanned UPC-A data.
Default = Off for both 2 Digit and 5 Digit Addenda.

UPC-A Addenda Required
When Required is scanned, the scanner will only read UPC-A barcodes that have
addenda. You must then turn on a 2 or 5 digit addenda listed on page 101.
Default = Not Required.

Addenda Timeout
You can set a time during which the scanner looks for an addenda. If an addenda
is not found within this time period, the data can be either transmitted or
discarded, based on the setting you are using for UPC-A Addenda Required. Set
the length (in milliseconds) for this timeout by scanning the barcode below, then
setting the timeout (from 0-120 milliseconds) by scanning digits from the
Programming Chart, beginning on page 211 of this manual, then Save.
Default =
120.
