Decoder Attempts
Set the number of attempts by scanning the barcode below, then setting the
number of attempts (0-10) by scanning digits from the Programming Chart
beginning on page 211 of this manual, the Save.
Minimum to Maximum attempts
= 0-10. Default = 5.
Digimarc Decoder Attempts
Digimarc Barcode
This setting programs the scanner to decode Digimarc Barcode using Digimarc
and ID decoders. When Digimarc Barcode is set to On, the Digimarc decoder is
used on most frames and the ID decoder will read every fifth frame.
When Digimarc Barcode is set to Uses ID Decoder then Both Decoders, the ID
decoder will read the number of attempts set by the Digimarc Decoder Attempts
and then will use both ID and Digimarc decoders. When Digimarc Barcode is set
to Uses Digimarc Decoder then Both Decoders, the Digimarc decoder will read
the number of attempts set by the Digimarc Decoder Attempts and then will use
both ID and Digimarc decoders.
When Digimarc Barcdoe is set to Uses ID Decoder then Alternates Decoders,
the ID decoder will read the number of attempts set by the Digimarc Decoder
Attempts and then will alternate between ID and Digimarc decoders. When
Digimarc Barcode is set to Uses Digimarc Decoder then Alternates Decoders,
the Digimarc decoder will read the number of attempts set by the Digimarc
Decoder Attempts and then will alternate between ID and Digimarc decoders.
Default = Uses Digimarc Decoder then Both Decoders
