The ProLiant DL580 Generation 2 server contains six expansion slots using the new
PCI-X protocol. These six slots include four with PCI-X Hot Plug capability.
PCI and PCI-X Expansion Boards
The ProLiant DL580 Generation 2 server supports the installation of both PCI and
PCI-X expansion boards.
PCI 33-MHz, 66-MHz
PCI-X 66-MHz, 133-MHz
NOTE: PCI-X 133-MHz expansion boards operate at 100-MHz.
