PCI-X Technology

CAUTION: Do not attempt this hot-plug operation if the operating system does

not provide PCI-X Hot Plug support or if you do not have the appropriate device

drivers installed. Failure to properly execute a hot-plug operation can halt the

system.

5. Press the port PCI-X Hot Plug button or use the PCI-X Hot Plug Utility to power

down the PCI-X Hot Plug slot.

CAUTION: Be sure that the slot LED is off before installing the expansion board.
