Dedicated LAN network connectivity
An Ethernet chip on the iLO Standard provides administrators with a dedicated
network connection to iLO Standard. The iLO Standard provides in-band SNMP
notification of server problems on a real-time basis without separate telephone
connections or modem-sharing devices.

User administration and security
The iLO Standard supports up to twelve users with customizable access rights,
login names, client IP address restrictions, and advanced password encryption.
Other security functions include secure password encryption, tracking of all login
attempts, and record maintenance of all login failures.
128-bit encryption
The iLO Standard provides strong security for remote management in distributed
IT environments. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption (up to 128-bits) ensures
the HTTP information is secure as it travels across the network.
