PCI-X expansion boards that are installed in slots 1 and 2
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to the equipment,
HP recommends that only trained and qualified personnel install non-hot-plug
components. In particular, personnel should be trained to deal with products
capable of producing hazardous energy levels.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock or damage to the equipment:
Disconnect power from the server by unplugging all power cords from
either the electrical outlet or the server.
Do not disable the power cord grounding plug. The grounding plug is an
important safety feature.
Plug the power cord into a grounded (earthed) electrical outlet that is easily
accessible at all times.
Hot-plug options include:
Hot-plug SCSI hard drives
Hot-plug fans
Redundant hot-plug power supplies
Memory board in the hot-plug mirrored memory mode or when Hot-Add
functionality guidelines are met
PCI-X Hot Plug expansion boards, slots 3 through 6
