Possible cause: A profile transitions from an OK state to a state that is not OK.
Action: Verify the status of each profile and find any that are in a state other than OK. Resolve the state of
each profile.
1026 - Domain state NO_COMM
Severity: CRITICAL
Description: This condition indicates that the Ethernet modules stacking links are not fully connected,
causing the effected modules to be isolated.
Possible cause: Stacking Links are not fully connected. This condition causes some Ethernet modules to be
isolated, which causes critical issues with network configuration and server profile mobility/accessibility to
servers.
Action: Connect stacking link cables correctly.
Enclosure events (2000-2999)
2003 - Enclosure import failed
Severity: CRITICAL
Description: An import or recovery of an enclosure failed. Imports are triggered by a user request to add an
enclosure to the domain. Recoveries might be triggered by:
• VCM reset
• VCM failover
• Configuration restore
• Firmware upgrade
• User re-authentication request
• Reconnection of an enclosure that was previously in a NO-COMM state
Possible causes:
• The primary OA IP, username, or password is not valid. This would include having insufficient permissions.
Administrator privileges, with full IOBAY and Device Bay access is required.
• The FW version of the primary OA of the enclosure is not >= 3.11.
Action: Do not attempt any configuration changes to the Virtual Connect Domain. Recommended corrective
actions:
