Procedure
1. Verify that the keyboard and mouse are connected.

CAUTION:
Only authorized technicians trained by Hewlett Packard Enterprise should attempt to remove the
system board. If you believe the system board requires replacement, contact Hewlett Packard
Enterprise technical support before proceeding. For more information, see "Accessing Hewlett
Packard Enterprise Support."
2. Run Insight Diagnostics and replace failed components as indicated.

305-Redundant ROM Error
Symptom
305-Redundant ROM Error: Both the Primary and Backup System ROMs are invalid. Action: Flash the
Primary and Backup System ROMs to the desired revisions. If the server fails to boot, perform the flash
update via iLO.
Cause
The primary and backup system ROMs are invalid or corrupted.
Action
1. Flash the Primary and Backup System ROMs to the appropriate revisions.

2. If the fails to boot, perform the flash update via iLO.

306-Redundant ROM Error
Symptom
306-Redundant ROM Error: iLO FW did not set the Primary System ROM. The error has been corrected. iLO
FW may have an issue. Action: Remove power. If issue persists, update iLO FW. If issue still persists, call HP
service.
Cause
An error prevented the setting of the primary system ROM.
Action
1. Power down and remove all power from the .
