Machine Quilting Tip: Recovering from a thread break or bobbin change
If the thread breaks while stching, press Pause. Fix the problem by rethreading the
machine or changing the bobbin. Select the Quilt menu and then select the New Start/
End funcon. Then press the Start Auto buon. Press Disable Motors. Move the machine’s
needle to the place on the quilt where you want to begin stching again. The crosshairs
on the screen will move to the corresponding posion on the design. If some ne tuning is
needed to move the new starng point forward or back in the design, use the le or right
arrows on the scroll bar unl the new start point is exactly where desired. Press Start Auto
again. Use the Half Stch buon to pull up the bobbin thread. Press the Tie o on Resume
and Pullup on Resume buons to disable. Press Resume to connue quilng.
If the quilt has shied slightly and the point on the design does not match up exactly with
the point on the quilt, move the needle to the exact locaon on the quilt that matches the
new starng point that was just set. Then select Reposion on the Quilt menu and press
Start Point. The design shis to align the new start point with the current needle posion.
Double check the Tie O and Pullup sengs and press Resume to connue stching the
design.
