To reposion a design based on the Home locaon
The Home locaon of a design is the point in the design where x=0 and y=0. It may be the start point of the
design, but other mes it may be in the middle or any other point in the design. Some digital designers use
the Home locaon for posioning.
• Move the quilng machine needle to a posion on the quilt where you want the Home locaon to
quilt. Press the Home buon to reposion the design relave to the Home locaon.
Machine Quilting Tip: Quickly reposition a design to the crosshair position
Use the Home buon as a quick-and-dirty posioning tool. For example, if the design is o
the screen because the quilng machine has been moved to a new locaon, press Reset to
bring the design closer to the current crosshair posion.
NOTE: The Home buon is a reposioning tool. Do not select it if the design has already been
posioned at the desired locaon
To posion a design based on the center point
• Move the quilng machine needle to the center point of the block or other area of the quilt. Press
the Center buon to center the design at the current needle and crosshair posion.
To posion a design’s start point on the quilt
• Move the quilng machine needle to the point where you want to begin quilng. Press Start Point
to reposion the start point of the design with the current needle and crosshair posion.
To posion a design’s end point on the quilt
• Move the quilng machine needle to the point on the quilt where you want the quilng to end.
Press End Point to reposion the end point of the design with the current needle and crosshair
posion.
