To reposion a design based on the Home locaon
The Home locaon of a design is the point in the design where x=0 and y=0. It may be the start point of the
design, but other mes it may be in the middle or any other point in the design. Some digital designers use
the Home locaon for posioning.
Move the quilng machine needle to a posion on the quilt where you want the Home locaon to
quilt. Press the Home buon to reposion the design relave to the Home locaon.
Machine Quilting Tip: Quickly reposition a design to the crosshair position
Use the Home buon as a quick-and-dirty posioning tool. For example, if the design is o
the screen because the quilng machine has been moved to a new locaon, press Reset to
bring the design closer to the current crosshair posion.
NOTE: The Home buon is a reposioning tool. Do not select it if the design has already been
posioned at the desired locaon
To posion a design based on the center point
Move the quilng machine needle to the center point of the block or other area of the quilt. Press
the Center buon to center the design at the current needle and crosshair posion.
To posion a design’s start point on the quilt
Move the quilng machine needle to the point where you want to begin quilng. Press Start Point
to reposion the start point of the design with the current needle and crosshair posion.
To posion a design’s end point on the quilt
Move the quilng machine needle to the point on the quilt where you want the quilng to end.
Press End Point to reposion the end point of the design with the current needle and crosshair
posion.
