Machine Quilting Tip: Practical uses for Baseline
Use the Baseline funcon to stch a quilt with mulple, idencal blocks. Mark the area of
the rst block, t the design to the block using Skew or other funcons to modify the design,
and then baseline the design. Quilt the block. Clear the Area. The design will maintain
its size and shape. Reposion the design to another block and quilt the design. Connue
quilng the baselined design on the blocks throughout the quilt.
Use Baseline when you want to crop mulple shapes from a design. Mark and crop the rst
area, and then select Baseline. Clear the area and create a new area in another locaon for
cropping. Connue to mark and crop as desired, followed by selecng Baseline aer each
crop to create mulple cropped regions in a design.
