Back Up Text Messages

Tap > Messages.
2.
OntheAllmessagesscreen,tap >Back up/Restore SMS>Back up.
3. TapOK>Back up SMS.
4. Choosewhetheryouwanttoprotectthebackupfilewithapassword.
5. Enteranameforyourbackupfile,andthentapOK.
Back Up Text Messages Using Mail
Important:YouneedtosetupyouremailaccountinMail.

Tap > Messages.
2.
OntheAllmessagesscreen,tap >Back up/Restore SMS>Back up.
3. TapOK>Back up SMS via mail.
4. Choosewhetheryouwanttoprotectthebackupfilewithapassword.
5. Selecttheemailapptouse.Theemailappcomposescreenopenswiththebackupfileattached.
6. Enteryouremailaddress.

Composeyouremailmessage,andtap .
Note:Torestoreyourtextmessagesonyourphone,opentheemailmessagewiththebackupfile
attachmentfromtheMailapplication.TaptheattachmenttoopentheRestoreSMSscreenandthen
tapthebackupfiletorestoreyourtextmessages.
Restore Text Messages
