6.12.2 Locating a Fault of a PW
After PWE3 is configured, you can locate any PW faults.
Context
To locate a PW fault, first configure basic PWE3 functions by using the PW template, and then
do as follows on each UPE:
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
pw-template pw-template-name
The PW template view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
control-word
The control word mode is enabled.
Step 4 Run any of the following commands to collect information about each LSR on the PW and the
egress PE.
