8.5 Stopping Electronic Cams or Electronic Gears
8.5.1 Setting Stop Mode
You can use special SM elements to set the stop mode for electronic cams: a stop after the current cycle or
an immediate stop.
The following table lists special elements for setting the stop mode.

OFF: Stop after the current cycle
ON: Immediate stop
Stop after the current cycle: When an electronic cam is disabled or a stop signal is valid, the electronic cam
stops after the current execution cycle is nished.
Immediate stop: When an electronic cam is disabled or a stop signal is valid, the electronic cam stops
immediately.
