9.1 Overview
The main module of an H3U PLC has Ethernet communication and CAN communication ports, and supports
CANlink and CANopen protocols.
The module has two independent serial communication ports: COM0 and COM1. COM0 can be used for
programming and monitoring. COM1 functions are user-dened.
The module has one MiniUSB communication port, which can be used for uploading, downloading, monitoring,
and conguration.
The following gure shows position of each port and instructions.

weighted value of DIP switch 0 is 1,
and the weighted value of DIP
switch 1 is 16.
For example, if switch 1 is turned to
5, 0 to 5, the code is H55, and 5 x
16 + 5 = 85 in decimal format.
