1 Install a new back-up ring L into the housing bore
followed by a new quad seal K. Make sure the seal is
not twisted and the ring is not damaged.
2 Assemble the bearing cups into the housing bores
with tapers facing outward.

3 Assemble brake disc N onto the shaft and secure with
snap ring M.
Note: The brake disc must be installed onto the lower
mount shaft prior to assembly of the shaft into the housing.
4 Press bearing cone P onto shaft using 1995 - 2177
kgf (4400 - 4800 lbf) force.
5 Assemble bearing housing over shaft using assembly
tool X (see Service Tools, Section 1) to prevent
damage to the seal lip during installation.
6 Press bearing cone J onto shaft using 1995 - 2177 kgf
(4400 - 4800 lbf) force. Rotate the housing whilst
pressure is applied to ensure bearings are seated
correctly.
Important: DO NOT apply greater force to the bearing
than specified to avoid damage to the races and rollers.
