Perform the Inial Conguraon for the MX10004
Router
Before you begin conguring the router:
Ensure that the Roung Control Board (RCB) has the Junos OS Release 22.3R1 or later operang
system installed.
If you want to use an RCB that has Junos OS release prior to 22.3R1 or if the show version command
displays the router model as mx10016-olive, you must use the USB install method (not the CLI method)
to upgrade the Junos OS release on the RCB to 22.3R1 or later.
You must perform the inial conguraon of an MX10004 router through the console port using the
command-line interface (CLI).
To connect and congure the router from the console:
