Understanding Alarms
The Juniper Networks MX10004 router supports dierent alarm types and severity levels. Table 53 on
page 219 provides a list of alarm terms and denions that can help you in monitoring the device.

Term Denion
Alarm Signal alerng you to condions that might prevent normal operaon. On the device, alarm
indicators might include the LCD panel and LEDs on the device. The LCD panel (if present on the
device) displays the chassis alarm message count. Blinking yellow LEDs indicate minor alarm
condions for chassis components.
