Oil heating in the steering system
It is necessary to heat the oil in the steering sys-
tem after engine cranking, prior to vehicle motion start,
to exclude the damage and excessive wear of parts of
steering mechanism and hydraulic power steering pump.
Engine operating time necessary for heating of oil
in the steering system versus the temperature of ambient
air is indicated in Table «Engine operating time neces-
