4.2.2 Oil fill
• Unscrew oil filler plug.
• Top up oil through oil filler hole (Fig. 11).
• The oil level is correct when it has reached the bottom edge
of the filler hole and/or when oil is already escaping out of
the filler hole.
• Tighten oil filler plug to 60 Nm.

4.3 Oil level check
CAUTION
Too less oil in the manual transmission leads to transmission
damages.
Check the transmission oil level at regular intervals:
• Check oil level when vehicle is on level ground.
• Do not perform oil level check right after travel (this will
produce an incorrect measurement). Only check once the
transmission oil has cooled down (<40 °C).
• Unscrew oil filler plug (Chapter 4.2.2).
• If the oil level has fallen below the oil filler hole, oil must be
topped up (Chapter 4.2.2).
• Tighten oil filler plug to 60 Nm.
NOTE
During every check, the transmission is also to be checked for
leakage.
