3.4.2 Engine-dependent PTOs
Engagement takes place independently of the vehicle clutch.
Activation and deactivation only when engine is running:
minimum engine speed 600 rpm
maximum engine speed 2000 rpm
Engine-dependent PTO can be operated with the vehicle
standing or driving.
NOTE
When activating the PTO, the following engine speeds shall
not be exceeded:
2000 rpm
for engine-dependent PTO transmission ratio of 0.98
1300 rpm
for engine-dependent PTO transmission ratio of 1.55
The engine speeds depend on the inertia and drag torques
to be shifted.
NOTES
Please refer to operation instructions 1315 758 150.
3.5 Parking
Change transmission to the low range change group
(1st - 4th gear).
Apply parking brake.
Engage gear as additional parking interlock:
Vehicle parked uphill: Forward gear!
Vehicle parked downhill: Reverse gear!
Secure loaded vehiclesadditionally with chocks.
3.6 Tow-Starting
Start engine by tow-starting in high range change group.
CAUTION
To avoid damages to the transmission, the vehicle shall
only be tow-started in the high range change group
(gears 5 to 8).
