TROUBLESHOOTING FOR BOLSTER
Cause Remedy
Bolster fails to close
Coupling pivot of semi-trailer is disposed
too high
Install the support plate on one level or 50 mm below
Bolster fails to open
Train is on rough ground or bolster is un-
der action of stretching forces
Release the bolster locking means
Bolster is not ready for coupling
Poor maintenance of bolster
Eliminate dirt from the locking means, grease it again
