VEHICLE MARKING
Manufacturer’s plate
The manufacturer’s plate is fixed in a r.h. door
aperture.
The plate contains:
- manufacturer’s name;
- identification number, including:
- XTC - manufacturer index;
- а - conventional vehicle model code com-
posed of six marks;
- b - production year code (1 mark);
- с - vehicle ordinal manufacturing number
(7 marks);

- unified market mark for products manu-
factured in countries - members of Customs union;
- е - number of «vehicle type approval»;
- weight values: technically permissible maxi-
mum weights and permitted maximum weights (not indi-
cated on chassis).
If technically permissible maximum weight ex-
ceeds the corresponding permissible maximum weight,
then, the weight values are indicated in two columns.
Technically permissible maximum weights:
