INDEPENDENT CAB AIR HEATER
In certain vehicle configurations an independent cab
air heater is installed.
An independent cab heater automatically adjusts
temperature in the cab.
Engagement, disengagement, adjustment of in-
dependent heater is carried out by console panel, located
over the windshield (see Fig. Shelf over the windshield).
In a switch block, on the bunk, a remote switch of
independent cab heater is located (see Fig. Shifters on the
bunk). An independent heater is engaged and disengaged
by remote switch.
Attention!
Before going to the dangerous zone (fuel filling
station, petroleum processing plant and so on) the heat-
er should be disengaged.
In a vehicle with semitrailer-tank cistern for
transportation of dangerous cargo the heater is automati-
cally disengaged:
- at vehicle engine cut off;
- at PTO box engagement.
