Wash: headlamps, parking, marker and tail lamps,
windows and number plates. Eliminate dirt, snow and ice
from wings’ bottom parts, step boards, springs, axles,
mud flaps, cover of storage battery box. Wipe instru-
ments and windows in a cab.
Blow-through (in cold season) locks of doors and
tool box with compressed air.
For washing, use neutral detergents, water jet ap-
plication pressure is to be not more 118 kPа
(1,2 kgf/cm
2
).
To preserve paint coating, avoid prolonged effect
of salts, acids, solvents and other aggressive substances.
To preserve paint coating resulting in corrosion
spots, eliminate dirt in time, particularly: insects’ dis-
charges, birds’ excrements, oils and greases.
Be sure to eliminate paint coating faults in time
caused by stone impacts and other mechanical effects.
