COLD WEATHER ENGINE STARTING
In cold period, start the engine with the help of
EFU (Electric Flame Unit). Prestarting heater may be al-
so used for engine starting.
Extreme temperatures for a reliable cold engine
start and the engine preparation-for-loading time are
specified in a Table «Extreme temperatures for a reliable
cold engine start».
Attention!
Avoid the open plug flame and torch usage for
air heating at engine start.
If the ambient air temperature is below 30 ºС
an unstable operation of display is possible and the
temperature of 40 ºС can cause an erratic instrument
cluster operation.
