Description of procedure
Technical requirements and instructions
Check the cotter-pinning of
nuts of steering rod ball pins
(visually), the fastening of pit-
man arm.
The pitman arm should not have any damages. The nut to fasten the pitman
arm should be secured and locked with a plate. The nuts of steering rod ball pins
should tightened and cottered. If there are no cotters put them on their place.
Inspect condition and operation
of hydraulic locks and hydrau-
lic cylinder for rais
lowering the cab.
The locking mechanism must retain the cab securely from
spontaneous raising. Check the spring for integrity Check visu-
ally the locking device - worn rods and hook mouth are not
permitted.
The hydraulic cylinder for raising and lowering the cab
should be securely fastened. It is not permissible to use parts
without cotters.
