3.4 Constant Braking Step Operations
The Intarder’s braking effect increases consistently from
the first to the last braking step, in line with the lever’s
position.
The Constant Braking Step function leads to unintended
vehicle deceleration (relieving the service brake system).
• Activation of the constant braking step operation.
Set the braking step lever in the position from 1 to max.
In line with the preselected position, the vehicle is
consistently decelerated.
In Position 1 = slight deceleration up to
position max. = strong deceleration.
