Technical requirements and instructions
Check visually the state of bolster
device, coiled hoses of semi-trailer
brake system, the state of semi-
trailer connection cables.
Inspect the bolster visually at the beginning of motion and during vehicle
stop. There must be no perceptible clearance between semi-trailer kingpin and
bolster lock. Damage of hoses is not admissible (inspect visually). Connection
cables must be secured reliably
.
Check the state and secure of lock
cam spring and bolster latch
spring.
Breakage and disconnection of springs is not tolerable. The springs
should be securely fastened and ensure proper functioning (see Fig. Bolster).
