Description
The control unit of the range change group changeover system
consists of the shift valve (1) and the pneumatic cylinder with
a double effect in the transmission (2).

Splitter group
The splitter group is actuated via a preselection switch at the
shift lever (Fig. 2 and 2a). The driver uses this preselection
switch to preselect the low or high splitter group which is then
triggered by depressing the clutch pedal.
NOTE
• Changeover is triggered when completely depressing the
clutch pedal.
• Keep the clutch pedal pressed until the splitter group has
changed.
Depending on the vehicle operating conditions, it is possible
to split every gear.
