«CRUISE-CONTROL» MODE
In cruise-control mode, the vehicle traveling speed
is maintained on a level set. The mode may be activated at
vehicle speed at least 38 km/h. When «Cruise-control» is
engaged but not active, speed digits are flashing on the
display.
When necessary drive speed is reached (cruise-
control speed) engage cruise-control mode, having
pressed the button
. In this case the symbol flashes
on the display and speed indicating digits light on un-
winkingly.
The speed set in such a way will be maintained by
vehicle irrespective of the affection on the fuel feed pedal.
If it is necessary to overtake, the set speed may be in-
creased with accelerator pedal depressed.
After the pedal is released, the system keeps run-
ning in the mode of speed maintaining, while the speed
value restores till that prior to pedal depression.
To increase the speed of cruise-control press the
button
.
To decrease the speed of cruise-control press the
button .
To disengage cruise-control mode repetitively
press the button
. The symbol on information dis-
play
dies out.
Reduction of cruise-control speed is carried out
by pressing the button
, affecting on clutch or brake
pedal or the button of secondary brake system.
After rotation of ignition key to «0» position, the
set value of cruise-control speed is erased.
Attention!
To prevent possible vehicle failures and for per-
sonal safety it is not recommended to use cruise-control
mode in the following cases:
- on twisty roads, in hard traveling conditions,
while traveling with various speeds etc., when it is impos-
sible to maintain the constant vehicle speed;
- on slippery roads.
