At trailer/ semitrailer connection the rear fog
lamps of truck tractor are not active.
Attention!
Thin layer of grease is applied onto bolster sup-
port plate.
Do not start motion until you are sure that lock is
reliably closed.
When maintaining coupling heads and sockets
for semi-trailer the load on frame boarding is to be not
more than 200 kg.
Uncoupling of tractor and semi-trailer
1. Place the vehicle on a level and hard surface.
2. Place chocks (block stops) under wheels of
semi-trailer.
3. Apply the parking brake system to stop the
semi-trailer.
4. Lower the semi-trailer support device till thrust
into road surface, until coupling device is practically un-
loaded.
5. During operation of hydroficated tractor with
hydroficated semi-trailer:
- unscrew the nut and disconnect hydraulic locking
devices of tractor and trailer;
- disconnect the plugs and close locking devices by
them.
6. Disconnect all cables between tractor and semi-
trailer.
7. Uncouple the tractor and trailer pursuant to re-
quirements of Operation manual of the fifth wheel manu-
facturer.
8. Drive with low speed till complete uncoupling
of semi-trailer.
Coupling heads and sockets
for coupling bolster tractor and semi-trailer
- connecting head of managing main line (color -
– connecting head of feeding main line (color - red);
– socket for connection of lighting engineering;
- ЕBS system terminal; 5, 6 – parking socket;
- spiral cable for lighting engineering connection;
