Power Core User Manual Version: 6.6.0/3 53/539
8. Configuring Power Core
8.1 Starting a Configuration
The simplest way to customize a system is to modify the existing or standard configuration. To do this, you will
need a copy of the latest .db3 project file. You can then use the ON-AIR Designer software to open, edit and
save the file; and transfer the modified configuration back to the system.
A copy of the project file can be stored on the Power Core device. In this instance, you can download a copy to
your computer using 'Load Project from unit'.
If you do not have access to an existing project, then use 'File -> New' to create a new configuration project.
If you plan to install VisTool, then it is a good idea to create the VisTool and system configurations in parallel.
Please refer to the "VisTool MK2 User Guide" for more information on editing a VisTool project.
