Step 3 - Set up and Check the PTP Sync
1. Open the "System -> Definition" branch of the 'Tree Definition', select the Ravenna tab and edit the
"PTP Settings".
Slave Only must be ticked so that Power Core will always look for a GrandMaster in the network.
The other PTP settings must be the same as the PTP GM so as to sync successfully.
2. Open the "System -> Definition" branch of the 'Tree Definition', select the Audio tab and scroll down to
the "Sync" parameters.
Make sure that Enable Sync from PTP is ticked, and that the Sync Prio is set to PTP as the first option.

Step 4 - Check and Tune the Streams via the Web UI
1. Open a Web UI connection to Power Core in the usual manner, and login as either Supervisor or
Administrator.
2. Navigate over to the Streams tab and check that all the streams are being broadcast on the network.
Note the stream names, Dev ID’s and mDNS channels. Pay particular attention to the stream "State Flags" which
show the condition of the stream.
3. Navigate over to the Outputs (Devices -> Core) tab to check that the subscribed streams are appearing
and connected to the relevant inputs.
Use the Connect button to search the network for announced streams and connect them to the relevant inputs.
4. Select the Stream Destinations tab to view the statistics associated with the subscribed streams
(connected to destinations).
The lower section provides statistics that report on the health of the received Primary and Secondary streams.
Data such as Packet Count, Early, Late and Misordered Packets, Buffer Margins and especially Jitter.
Each time a stream connects it goes through an automatic "tuning" process where a Time Offset is applied to
compensate for network latency and jitter. The Time Offset values are determined by the ON-AIR Designer. If
changes to the network infrastructure are made, then it may be necessary to manually retune the streams (as
described later).
