DDM-2000 OC-3 MULTIPLEXER
DO ITEMS BELOW IN ORDER LISTED. . . . . FOR DETAILS, GO TO
NOTE:
The following commands may be used to convert, delete,
enter, and retrieve cross-connections: cnvt-crs,
dlt-crs-sts1, dlt-crs-vt1, ent-crs-sts1,
ent-crs-vt1, rtrv-crs-sts1, and rtrv-crs-vt1.
See the Commands and Reports section of this manual for a
description of commands. See Cross-Connection
Provisioning in the Administration and Provisioning section
of this manual for more information on cross-connection
provisioning.
Determine the necessary cross-connections for each node from
the work order or circuit order.
11. Make necessary VT1.5/STS1 cross-connections for each node in
the network.
DLP-546A. Single Ring Configuration
DLP-550B. Dual Ring Interworking (DRI) Configuration
DLP-557C. Single/Dual OC-3/FiberReach Configuration
DLP-558D. Stand Alone OC-3/FiberReach Configuration
DLP-559E. Single/Dual OC-3/OC-48 Configuration
DLP-560F. Single/Dual OC-3/OC-12 Configuration
12.
NOTE:
For a DS1 circuit in a path protected ring network, the
sw-path-vt1:address command must be used at the
terminating nodes [and dual ring interworking (DRI) nodes in
a DRI ring network] to switch the active VT1.5 (DS1) path to
repeat this test on the other path(s).
Perform DS1 end-to-end transmission test for each circuit being
put into service.
DLP-510A. Single Ring Configuration
DLP-554B. Dual Ring Interworking (DRI) Configuration
DLP-510C. OC-3/FiberReach Configuration
13. Use the rtrv-state-eqpt: command to determine the port
state of the DS1 port(s) of the circuit being established.
