2.2 Display
The display located above the keyboard is a two-line LCD display,
each line containing 40 characters. The LED background lighting
switches on when Lumat is powered up.
Functions:

➤ The second line displays the functions of the softkeys, which
are activated using the buttons located directly below the
display field
➤ Results display
➤ Instrument status display
➤ User guidance during protocol entry and measurement
2.3 Printer
The thermal printer located on the top left corner of the instrument
has the following functions:

➤ to print measurement results and cut-off classes

➤ to plot kinetics curves
As an alternative to the thermal printer you can also connect a PC
to the RS 232 Interface to receive the measured data. A suitable
software is "WinTerm", available from Berthold Technologies.
