LB 9507 Chapter 10: Kinetic Measurements
10-1
10. Kinetic and Repeated Measurements
There are three ways to perform kinetic measurements:
1. Using a “RAW DATA" measurement protocol (or a "Direct
Entry” measurement which is not stored in the instrument
memory) you will be asked at the end of the protocol entry if
you would like to use the kinetic option. This kind of
measurement provides always a fixed measurement time.
Within this time window up to 2000 data points can be taken
and printed in a diagram.
2. Using a “REPEATED” measurement protocol, where the
sample will be measured several times within a total
measurement time.
3. Using continuous measurement in “RATEMETER” mode.In
this mode results are continuously produced until the
measurement is stopped by the user.
10.1 Kinetic Option in Raw Data Protocol
At the end of raw data protocol entry, you can choose the kinetic
option. Please see for details Chapter 5. During protocol entry the
following displays are shown:
R17
06:KINETICS PRINTOUT DATA YES
YES NO LAST DISPLAY
The measurement results can be printed in the form of kinetics
data on the built-in thermal printer.
R18
06:KINETICS PRINTOUT CURVE YES
YES NO LAST DISPLAY
The measurement results can be printed in the form of kinetics
curve on the built-in thermal printer.
