5. Direct dry compressed air (Max. 0.69 MPa (7 kgf/cm
2
) from the
inside of the outer element along its folds. Then direct the
compressed air from the outside along the folds, and again from
the inside.
The inner element must not be used again even after
cleaning. When cleaning or replacing the outer element,
replace the inner element at same time.
• Replace any outer element which has been cleaned 6 times or
used for 1 year. Replace the inner element at the same time.
• Replace both inner and outer elements when the dust indicator
red piston appears soon after installing the cleaned outer
element even through it has not been cleaned 6 times.
• Remove one seal from the element whenever the element has
been cleaned.
6. If small holes or thinner parts are found on the element when it is
checked by shining a light through it after cleaning, replace the
element.
• When cleaning the element, do not hit it or beat it against
something.
• Do not use an element whose folds or gasket or seal are
damaged.
• Wrap unused element and store them in a dry place.
7. Set the cleaned outer element in position, and then secure cover
(3) with mounting clips (2).
When installing the cover (3), check O-ring (7) and replace it
if there are any scratches or damage.
8. Press the button of dust indicator (1) to return the red piston to
its original position.
