• Always exercise this practice only on a level and solid ground.
• Refer to "Specifications 1. Main Specifications" for dimension and mass of this machine.
• The operator who operates the crane to lift this machine up must be licensed or trained for
crane operation.
• Sling instruments such as wire ropes and shackles for lifting operation must be sufficiently
durable to the mass of this machine.
• During the lifting up practice, always set the lock lever to the lock position to prevent the
machine from sudden movement.
• Any procedure to lift up the crane other than below is strictly prohibited. Oterhwise, the
machine may lose balance.
• Prepare a rectangular lumber (200mm X 200mm) to put under the track.
1. Fix the hook block to the stowage wire rope and configure the
machine to the "traveling posture" as shown the figure in the
right.
2. Swing the boom by 90 degrees.
3. Attach the sling wire rope (A) below the boom and lift the
machine up slowly.
• For this operation, use a pad (B) such as a rectangular lumber
between the sling wire rope (A) and the boom to prevent the
boom from being damaged.
• Unless the hook block is fastened to the stowage wire rope,
when the boom is raised, the machine will not lift up.
4. Insert the rectangular lumber (C) prepared properly, between
the ground and the track when the machine is raised.
5. Lower the machine slowly.
Ensure that the machine is in a stable condition, during this
practice.
