6 Troubleshooting and Diagnostics
How to Use This Section
1. Find the category to which your problem belongs. The problem categories are:
– Power-related Problems
Error Messages
2. Find the symptom description that most closely matches the printer symptom.
3. Try the first suggestion under that heading.
4. If none of the suggestions enables you to continue printing, or if the fault is not
listed, contact your service agent. Every time the printer is switched ON an
internal self test is started.
After successful initialization the following message appears:
ONLINE (1)
WARMING UP
Then the display changes into:
ONLINE (1)
If an error message is displayed please refer to section 6.2 Error Messages.
6.1 Power-related Problems
Display elements do not lit when power is switched ON
Check that the power cord and plug are securely fitted to the printer and to the
walls outlet.
Ask for the power connector connections (and fuse, if fitted) to be verified.
