Source – An electronic component that originates an audio or video signal (e.g. Tape Deck,
CD Player, VCR, Tuner, etc.)
SP – MVP Sound Pressure Meter
Speaker Level – A signal that does not require amplification to be heard through Speakers. Also
referred to as High Level or Active.
Trigger – Activation of an Autosound component through the turn-on relay on a Switching
Module. Also called 12V switched.
Video Level – A video signal that in a sense is “pre-amplified”. Typically transmitted with RCA
cables.
